Los Gatos Hispanic Serving Pathway Grant

The FAMILIA team is proudly working with Pueblo High School, Catalina High School and Rincon High School for the first cohort of the Los Gatos program! As part of the program, the high schools will receive $5,000 per semester that can be used on expenses related to activities and materials that support college-going culture and support for teachers to become credentialed by the Higher Learning Commission to teach dual enrollment courses, specifically pre-calculus mathematics courses. By preparing Hispanic and minority students in pre-calculus, this project will increase the likelihood that students persist through STEM coursework in college and obtain a STEM degree.
